Contract Description:
The USCG has a requirement, on a sole source basis, to purchase Rolls-Royce Marine North America, Inc. OEM parts, and assemblies directly supporting the operation and maintenance of the USCG 418′ Maritime Security Cutter (WMSL) Legend Class of USCG Cutters. The current USCG fleet consists of six (6) 418′ WMSL cutters. Five (5) cutters planned to be built, for a total of eleven (11) 418′ WMSL cutters. The period of performance will be for one (1), 12-month base with four (4), 12-month options.
It is the government’s intention to solicit and negotiate solely with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Rolls-Royce Marine North America, Inc. 110 Norfolk Street, Walpole, MA 02081, using the procedures established in FAR Part 12, Commercial Item Acquisitions with elements of FAR 15, Contracting by Negotiation. A copy of the JUSTIFICATION FOR OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION and approval is available as attachment (JOTFOC) within the psoting.
