Contract Description:
The USCG has a requirement, on a sole source basis, to purchase Rolls-Royce Marine North America, Inc. OEM parts, and assemblies directly supporting the operation and maintenance of the USCG 418тА▓ Maritime Security Cutter (WMSL) Legend Class of USCG Cutters. The current USCG fleet consists of six (6) 418тА▓ WMSL cutters. Five (5) cutters planned to be built, for a total of eleven (11) 418тА▓ WMSL cutters. The period of performance will be for one (1), 12-month base with four (4), 12-month options.
It is the governmentтАЩs intention to solicit and negotiate solely with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Rolls-Royce Marine North America, Inc. 110 Norfolk Street, Walpole, MA 02081, using the procedures established in FAR Part 12, Commercial Item Acquisitions with elements of FAR 15, Contracting by Negotiation. A copy of the JUSTIFICATION FOR OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION and approval is available as attachment (JOTFOC) within the psoting.
