Contract Description:
AMCOM CIO/G-6 is tasked with providing Information IMSS and IACS support services to an to an extensive network of customers encompassing the AMCOM CIO/G6 supported communities; Army Materiel Command (AMC); Project Managers/Program Executive Offices (PM/PEO) and various Redstone Arsenal tenant activities as designated, located both in the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). Contract provides Information Management Services.
The IMSS and IACS services provided by AMCOM CIO/G-6 sustain and enable Weapon SystemтАЩs Management; facilitate Industrial Base Operations and Systems Information Technology (IT) Life Cycle support; deliver mission-essential IT capabilities, and support Cyber-security (CS) mission goals and objectives.
IACS services to provide a full range of IA support services is necessary to support critical Warfighter missions and satisfy AMCOM enterprise missions, goals and objectives in the areas of Certification and Accreditation (C&A); Technical Vulnerability Assessment and Validation; IACS Project Planning; IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM) and CS Programs; Security Assessment; and variety of IACS Programs
The GovernmentтАЩs need for continuation of IACS contract provides mission critical support. As Headquarter Army Materiel Command works to establish an enterprise strategy for contracts, this extension will allow time to ensure all requirements are properly captured and documented, ensuring that the follow-on contracts provides continual services for all customers.
This extension is only until the re-compete effort is awarded.
