Contract Description:
The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Technology Application Contracting Office (TAKO) intends to procure engineering and manufacturing services to create or make a flight ready lightweight Infrared Exhaust Suppressor (IES) System that has the potential to improve the survivability of an aircraft in hostile environments by reducing aircraft signature by using a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and/or Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Indefinite Delivery -Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The associated NAICS code is 336413 – Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing.
The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with potential vendors. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all capabilities statements or proposals received within the closing date set in this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct further competitive procurement.
