A tender has been issued for consultancy services to improve the governmentтАЩs understanding of climate and disaster risk.
You should be able to:
support disaster risk modelling at a national level and in the Ayeyarwady region, for climate risks like tropical cyclones and flooding
assess the level of damage to buildings, infrastructure and losses to agriculture
assess the cost of the damage
The government wants these services to increase its understanding of climate risk and how to estimate losses.
The contact is for 12 months and is expected to start on 20 November 2017.
