II.1.4) Short Description: The Commission is a small office with a headcount of under 30 people. However, the organisation is subject to the same legislative requirements as any other public-sector body. Therefore, it is essential that we comply with all the necessary employment laws and all other applicable legislation. It would not be cost effective for the Commission to retain this type of specialised advice within the office on a full-time basis. Therefore, we are seeking the services of external professionals to ensure we remain compliant in these key areas. We would like the successful Tenderer to perform a review of our current policies and processes in the three specific areas at the outset. Thereafter, we would envisage the amount of time required would be minimal, and perhaps a few hours each month. However, we would also like a pro-active service whereby an external professional is horizon scanning for any new laws or legislations that may affect the Commission.
