The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation at any time. This project is for the Repair of building 655 (Dormitory) at Malmstrom AFB, (Great Falls) Montana. Work consists of the contractor providing all labor, equipment, transportation, materials, quality control and supervision necessary to conduct all repairs or maintenance requirements throughout, Malmstrom AFB, MT, in accordance with the project specifications, drawings and blueprints. Project requirements include but are not limited to replacement of all exterior windows and doors with blast resistant units compliant with Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) standards and the required associated structural improvements and interior/exterior work needed for their installation. It also includes the replacement of the gutter and downspout systems, new interior finishes such as painting, flooring, counter tops and accessories, cabinetry, and upgrades to the mechanical, electrical, and fire alarm/notification systems The Request for Proposal will be available on or about 31 January 2019. The Request for Proposal will close on or about 3 March 2019. The Performance Period for this project is four hundred and eighty (480) calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. The Notice to Proceed will be issued within 10 days after award of the solicitation. This acquisition is open to small businesses in accordance with the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010. FAR Clause 52.219-14 “Limitations in Subcontracting” applies to this requirement.  The Request for Proposal will be available by Electronic Transmission only at: . Potential contractors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management to be eligible for award. (See internet site: sam.gov). All responsible sources must submit an offer good through 1 August 2019, which shall be considered by the agency. The magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00
