II.1.4) Short Description: Manchester City Council are looking for a professional security services provider (or providers) to support the Authority in delivering The “Our Manchester” strategy, specifically in ensuring that those who live and work within the City and those who visit here, are kept and feel safe at all times.
The contract is to include the following activities:
— provision of staff for mobile patrols,
— keyholding and alarm response duties,
— investigation and verification of alarms including fire,
— Open/close/lock/ unlock activities at a range of locations,
— critical location guarding and access control,
— asset protection guarding and access control,
— temporary asset protection,
— control room staffing and CCTV monitoring,
— car Park monitoring and control.

Routinely opening and closing agreed locations in line with specific instructions.
