Buy Cyber Essentials based on your MOD contract needs

Selecting the correct Cyber Essentials solution is critical to winning defence contracts. From October 2017 the MOD and DCPP have mandated that all MOD suppliers will need to comply to the new Cyber Security Model which requires all bidding suppliers to hold a version of Cyber Essentials certification.

With our defence procurement software, DCI will help you identify which defence contracts require Cyber Essentials certification with our unique tagging of MOD contract opportunities.

The DCPP have now made this clearer for suppliers bidding for Defence contracts by clarifying what level of Cyber Essentials solution is required based on the contract risk of the MOD tender you are looking to bid for.

  • For MOD Contracts where the risk is classified as “Very Low” suppliers should have or show they working towards Cyber Essentials certification.
  • For MOD Contracts where the risk is classified as “Low”, “Moderate” or “High” suppliers should show they have or are working towards Cyber Essentials Plus.
