Procurement Information
Procurement Directives
As a BiP Solutions service, DCI has access to a wealth of information issued by government procurement departments which can help private sector companies win EU contracts and tenders.
DCI's Market Intelligence, for example, contains up to date news of EU procurement proposals and EU Directives that could affect your contract bids.
Not only does DCI bring you EU contract opportunities; you can also obtain information on procurement directives within the EU.
Procurement directives govern the procurement process within the EU. DCI can gather information on current and future EU Directives governing EU procurement, such as:
- Common Procurement Vocabulary (CPV) Codes - part of a package of measures specially developed by the EU to simplify and modernise EU procurement.
- Contracting authorities within the EU are legally obliged to use CPV Codes under EU Directives.
- DCI uses procurement codes to search through databases for news of EU contracts for your company to bid for. You can use CPVs to create your unique profile easily by using the codes to identify the services/products your company provides.
